Of all the numerous aspects of African womanhood, none are fascinating than the many representations of Black Madonnas. Indeed, the Black Madonnas of Europe is perhaps the foremost venerated icons altogether of European Christendom. Their shrines have attracted many devotees. They’re thought to be miracle workers, and their miracle-working powers are derived from their blackness.

In Russia during the nineteenth century, the celebrated Russian General Kutuzov had his army pray before the Black Madonna of Kazan before the historic battle with the Napoleonic army at Borodino. an equivalent Madonna is claimed to possess inspired Rasputin and should now be within us. Many people believe that the European Virgin is a sign of worship of the African goddess Isis. Notre-Dame Cathedral, Notre-Dame Cathedral, considered a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, was built on this African sanctuary in central Paris. Our Lady of hermit in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, is one of the most respected virgins. It located in the Benedictine Abbey with titles like Die Schwarze Madonna, Madonna in the Dark Wood, and our dear Einsiedeln. It is a standing five-foot statue. Black Saint Maurice is one of the sponsors of the church.

Perhaps the most famous black Virgin in the world is the Virgin Mary of Jasna Gory (1656, King Jan Casimir expressed by the Queen of Poland) at the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa, Poland. The Black Madonna found in Czestochowa, painted on three pieces of wood (lemon, cypress, or cedar) in Jerusalem, is said to have reached the Jasna Gora monastery in the 14th century. Since its creation, it has offered thousands of diamonds and rubies, hundreds of pearls, and dozens of emeralds and sapphires.

The Queen of Poland searched, shredded, beaten, beaten in front of the defeated army, went through many trimmings, and always kept her dark skin. Czestochowa has more than 800 Madonnas. Millions of tourists come to visit each year.
