Patoranking is a Nigerian musician widely regarded as a pioneer of popular reggae salon music. He is known for working with artists such as the Konga, Slam, Reggie Rockstone, and XProject. Since then, he has had great success with his revolutionary music Alubarika, in which Timaya was featued.
PATORANKING BIOGRAPHY
Patoranking born on May 27, 1990, in Ijegun-Egba, Alimos, Lagos. Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie was born into an ebony family. His stage name was created from his name Patrick. It was given to him by a Jamaican artist whom he met at Alpha Beach in Lagos.
He grew up with his family in the satellite city of Ijegun-Egba and then moved to Ebute Metta. He attended the Citizen Epe Comprehensive School and then attended the Jibril Martin Grammar School in Iponri. After graduating from high school, Patoranking started as a dancer in street traffic jams and carnivals. He quickly started singing and released his first song in May 2012, a fusion of the Fuji Ballroom and the song called “Iya Bisi,” starring Qdota and Kbaje. After signing with K’Solo Igberaga Records, he released another song called “Up in D Club.”
His work caught the attention of Timaya, Managing Director of Dem Mama Records, who helped him express with the sound of a song considered his pioneering track. At the same time, the words “Alubarika” translated into “Divine Blessing” were brought at Haus, and critics praised a video. The artist himself described music as a summary of his life as a musician. This unintentionally opened the door for him to build a fan base and work with other cookies in the industry.
After the song’s success, another recording contract was signed. Fast-growing star Foston Musik wrote a paper and released the acclaimed single “Girlie O.” The visual was shot in London, with Patoranking as a hero, saving his partner’s neighbor, avoiding domestic violence, and expressing love for him. A few months later, Tiwa Savage Girlie introduced The Remix. Tiwa, in the interview, revealed that she fell in love with the original song and teamed up with Patoranking for mixing. Their collaboration was a massive success because it was widely promoted and featured at various countdown events in Africa.
Then she composed her song “Murda” with upcoming singer Seyi Shay. The documentary Dokty Frabze was released on April 1, 2014. There is excellent speculation that seems to be supported by the leaders of both artists who consider the couple as a couple. However, this is generally considered a joke or promotion. This does not prevent them from correcting the appearance of the track, released a month later on May 11, 2014.
For artists, 2015 is a better year. He first announced through the popular social media application Instagram that he signed up for VP Records, a successful reggae label and lounge and distributor in the United States. The musical development of Patoranking is evident to everyone. International organizers realized this and soon performed in Jamaica, the United States, and the UK. His first work, “God Psychic” (GOE), was released in August 2016 and finished fourth in Billga’s Reggae. Album chart.
PATORANKING SON’S GIRLFRIEND
Patoranking is said to have established a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Leilo. It was suggested that the couple had a child after publishing several photos online in 2015.
The singer Alubarika published photographs of what was later confirmed as his brother, but the internet was growing fast, and many suggested that he was his son. In 2017, however, he published more photographs of his pregnant girlfriend, and although there were not enough titles or explanations, he later published pictures of how she was holding the baby and lying in a hospital bed. The artist and his managers did not inform about this topic.

Patoranking seems to be doing well because it has invaded the international world of music and dance. He currently lives in a Metropolitan Garden house in Lekki, Lagos. There is a recording studio in his house, which makes its work much more comfortable.
