Jose Chameleone’s full name is Joseph Mayanja. This singer was born on April 30, 1979, in Uganda. He is the son of Gerald Mayanja and Proscovia Musoke. José Chameleone spent his childhood in Uganda and attended a progressive high school. He was also a DJ in night clubs at the time, and it was the beginning of his career.

In 2004 and 2005, he won the Tanzania Music Awards for the best album in East Africa. He has received many other awards, such as the Kisima Music Awards, the Kora Awards, the MOBO Awards, etc.

In addition to the two children, the names of the other chameleon children are Alba Shyne Mayanja, Xara Amani Mayanja, and Amma Christian Mayanja.

It is also important to say that José Chameleone has three brothers and that they are also known. The most popular of his brothers is undoubtedly the Ugandan artist Douglas Mayanja (Weasel). The other two brothers are Pallaso and Emmanuel Mayanja (AK 47).
