21 Savage was born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph in Plaistow, London, on October 22, 1992. His British mother, Heather Carmilla Joseph, is of Dominican origin, and his father Kevin Cornelius Emmons is from Haiti. While his twin sisters, father, and grandmother continued to live in London after Heather and Kevin’s divorce, 21 Savage’s mother transferred him to Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of seven years. 21 Savage’s mother remarried and had more children.
