Femi Falana was born on May 20, 1958, a Nigerian lawyer, politician and human rights activist.
He attended St. Michael elementary school in Ilawe from 1963 to 1968, after which he was transferred to the Catholic seminary of the Sacred Heart for secondary education from 1971 to 1975. He was admitted to Obafemi Awolowo University in 1977 and graduated in 1981.
