Nelson, a graduate of the University of Calabar, where he studied pure physics, was also declared the winner of the Unisex Face of University of Nigeria 2016 competition. It was a proud victory for his beloved family, state, and country.
Career
After winning the Mr. Nigeria competition in 2018, he was asked, “What would you do with your platform during your reign as Mr. Nigeria?”
Nelson responded optimistically, intending to “bring Nigeria back to the World Cup title.”
The same year, he won the “Most Talented Competitor” award.
His opinions won the respect of the referees and his teammates, earning him first place out of 20 contenders for Nigeria in 2018.

What’s your biggest achievement? Winning Mr. Nigeria and competing in the Mr. World competition. It earned me great respect in my village and honor amongst the elders.
