Fonio porridge is a traditional West African pudding made from fonio cereals, nutritious and gluten-free.
Fonio has exceptional nutritional qualities. It is a cereal that does not contain gluten, has a low glycemic index, contains a lot of fiber, and is very digestible.

  • 4 cups of water
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 cup of milk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar

For decoration

  • 2 tablespoons of liquid honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash the fonio by placing it in a large bowl and covering it with water.
  2. Stir with your fingers, then drain it.
  3. Repeat this process until the water is clear. Drain well.
  4. Place the fonio in a large saucepan with 4 cups (1 liter) of water and salt.
