Biography
Kgaogelo Moagi was born on January 31, 1996, in Calais, Limpopo, South Africa, where he grew up. After completing his primary studies, he enrolled at the prestigious lycée de Calais, Maruleng Rural, Limpopo, for secondary education, graduating in 2015.
Master KG started music at a very young age. He began playing beats at the age of 13 on a computer purchased by his late uncle, which was very useful to his talent.
Personal life
Master KG was previously in a relationship with the famous South African musician, Makhadzi, who is popular for her hit single “Matorokisi”. Although the breakup’s main reason is still unknown, Master KG has confirmed that they are no longer together on his Facebook wall.
Career
Master KG was so passionate about music that even he had to pretend he was sick to stay in his room and do what he loved. He then teamed up with DJ Maebel, and together they started experimenting with music software and honing their craft.
This is the reason why, when he joined the South African music industry in 2016, he already had a whole load of instruments and was making waves in the art of beat making. The same year, he released his first song, “Situation”.
He also released his debut album “Skeleton Move” in 2018 after entering into a recording contract with Open Mic Productions. He has since collaborated with various artists, including Makhadzija and Zandu Zakuzu.
