He was almost signed to Olamide’s YBNL, but Olamide said he couldn’t have Ola Dips and Chinko Ekun on the same record label because the two artists had virtually the same style of music.

He said he was being cheated in the record deal and described the deal as “fraudulent”. Ola Dips left the LRR label with N23,000 in his account.
